Tanglewood

We had a fantastic stay at Tanglewood House. The property was even more beautiful than the listing showed. Several rooms had new furniture. We loved the location with groceries, restaurants and a gorgeous beach nearby. Having access to the facilities at Silk Cotton Villas accross the street was a big plus, and my son used the gym there daily. We did have some issues with the home, but they were quickly resolved by the operations supervisor, Yulino. All staff that we interacted were very friendly and helpful. One thing to note was the hot tub was more like a warm tub. Our guess was the temperature was a max of 92 F instead of the usual 100 F. We were very happy with our experience and would highly recommend.

We booked Tanglewood for our party of 7 for a couple of nights before we returned home from our diving vacation. The house set up well for our group with 4 bedrooms (all ensuite) and multiple beds in 2 rooms. We spent the majority of our time by the pool area. The outside area is a great set up for relaxing or cooking out. The kitchen was well appointed. The house was within easy walking distance to several restaurants, grocery store, Starbucks and the marina. We were provided with easy directions for check in and check out. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

The place is exactly as listed, I came here for my bachelorette and everyone was so responsive and helpful. There is a team of wonderful people running this airbnb and shantell helped us set up transport to and from the airport and other various excursions. All of the drivers were so friendly and were available at all times, it was all very safe. The beds were very comfortable, and any small issues we had, were resolved quickly. I definitely recommend staying here if you have a large group, it’s much more affordable than the resorts and more private. It was a very quiet and safe area, and with the drivers, it was very easy to access all parts of the island.

We had a great stay overall at this lovely rental! The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and we appreciated the plenty of space to spread out. However, we did experience a couple of issues - there was an AC leak upstairs that was addressed on day of arrival, the water pressure was a bit low, which made showers less enjoyable, and the TV in the first-floor bedroom wasn't working however it was replaced by the next day. Despite these issues, the host was very responsive and handled them somewhat promptly and efficiently. A good stay for a large group. Would definitely recommend.

We took our staff of 10 to the Bahamas for our annual retreat. Finding a 5 bedroom house was very difficult to find so we had to get creative. With the outstanding help of Kent, Tamara and the team at Silk Cotton we were able to secure Tanglewood, 4 bedroom and a studio suite that accommodated our entire staff. We could have not done this without their help. Kent even got on the phone with me to sort out our needs when booking. They were incredibly helpful the whole way through. Arranging shuttle’s for our arrival and departure. The location of this property and the amenities were equal parts perfect and made our retreat absolutely incredible. When we were done exploiting everyday. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the pool in the backyard! This location is a must, perfect for families with small children!
