Annika our host did a wonderful job communicating before our stay. Once we arrived we were wowed beyond the pictures we saw listed. Took a walk to the. beach area and took a swim in the warm protected bay waters. All sand without worrying about stepping on hazards. On the other side is a beautiful new dock with great sunsets. The beds were comfortable and the fresh flowers on the kitchen table was a nice touch. We have rented houses for the last few years on the island as this is definitely the favorite by far. Thank you Annika!!
This home sits on a beautiful peninsula in Marsh Harbor. This was our first trip to the area, and we found it very easy to navigate. The great thing about the property is the location with stand-up paddle boarding and snorkeling just offshore - and a dock. The home still needs some TLC s/p Dorian, but the ground team is clearly working on it. Our house manager, Taj was wonderful and very responsive. For example, there was no large pot in the kitchen, and she had one brought over immediately. Like many rentals, the kitchen was ok but not fantastic for those who love to cook (I am picky, like gourmet kitchens). Many homes in Marsh Harbor are still abandoned, but the town is making an active recovery and I expect that it will grow in popularity since it is relatively easy to access with commercial flights to MHH. If you want to do boating, we would recommend that you shop around as MHH has some revitalized/new marinas, and there are boat rental services with many different options.
