We stayed at Cotton Tree house during Spring Break 2026 after our plans to Hawaii got canceled due to weather. It’s a quaint historical cottage on Murray Street which is right off the main government dock which I wasn’t sure about at first but it was very convenient to everything in town. They have redone it but in a way that stays true to the history and is not sterile like some AirBnBs. It’s very charming and we loved the front porch in the morning for drinking coffee. The house comes with a gardener and lady that will clean it periodically which was a nice perk for an AirBnB. They were both very nice and helpful. The instructions and communication were very relaxed and informal which I’m not used to but I think that is the Bahamian way. Would be helpful to have a more detailed list of amenities and procedures before check-in. They could stand to redo the showers and get more comfortable chairs for the living room but overall a very positive experience!
Cotton Tree House was everything we expected and more! Truly a wonderful vacation home to enjoy the stunning beauty and charm of Harbour Island. The home was incredibly comfortable and very well-appointed. The inviting front porch and beautifully landscaped backyard with outdoor shower set Cotton Tree House apart from other rentals we considered for this trip. The location was absolutely perfect for enjoying this gem of an Island. Easy to get to the glorious Pink Sand Beach with or without a golf cart. We loved the very short walk down to Bay Street for cocktails while watching the sunset. Bluwatur Bakery directly across the street was ideal for morning coffee and pastries. We cannot recommend Cotton Tree House enough. We will return soon!
We had a great stay at the Cotton Tree to celebrate a birthday. The local manager helped us right away with a smoke alarm and to get laundry done. The house was cleaned at least twice while we were there for four nights which was very nice. The outdoor shower was our favorite for water pressure. Beautiful porch for morning coffee and the best bakery was one house away. We loved it and would highly recommend!
