Cable Beach House

We stayed at Cable Beach House for 2 weeks. We had 3 families and it was perfect. Such a beautiful private beach. House was very clean. Enough kitchen stuff to cook. Always felt very safe. Close to a grocery store and some good restaurants. Very close to Baha Mar. We used Charles recommended chef Dena to cook us a traditional Bahamian meal at the house and it was amazing! Lamont was fabulous for transportation. Stephanie, the host, was also super helpful! Wonderful stay. Would go back again!!

Pros: It is a beautiful location and beach. Charles was very helpful in the beginning helping connect us with transportation (Lamont was incredible) and let us check in early due to a flight change which was incredibly helpful. The house was extremely clean and massive, more than enough room for 10 people. Air conditioning worked great.<br/>Location was walkable to local pharmacy, liquor store, shops. Traffic is awful though so we had to be very cautious.<br/>Cons: Sliding glass door (only one to go out to beach) was extremely hard to open and shut. Kids and elderly parents could not do it themselves.<br/>Filtered cold water through fridge was broken, we had to purchase water or drink warm water through tap.<br/>Beach chairs were unusable, very rough shape. <br/>Jet skis come very close to the beach and we had to be cautious when we were in the water. Looks like at one time there was a barrier but it was broken. <br/>Charles was unreachable during our stay.<br/>Overall our group had a great time and vacation.

Lovey home, comfortable, bright and clean. Sliding door was extremely hard to open/close. NO shady area to get out of the direct sun. Umbrella did not work. Everything 'walkable' is a big understatement, 10-20 minutes is NOT walkable in the hot sun. The driver Lamont was great thou expensive to use for each outing. We used the bus when we could. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to relax and enjoyed the stay very much.

My family and I had a great vacation. The location cannot be beat. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time, and the home was more than spacious enough to provide for the size of our family. Lamont and his people were awesome and always quick to get us every where we wanted to go. Stephanie was very helpful as well. Thank you!

Charles was a fantastic host, quick to respond and very helpful. The home truly is stunning, better than the photos could ever show. The big windows showcasing the ocean is just absolutely gorgeous. I could sit in those green comfy chairs forever. Depending on the tide the beach can be kind of small, but there is a big empty beach to the side of the house ! The kitchen is well equipped with pots pans and utensils. The home and linens were clean. Everything was absolutely perfect. The last day we did not have any water. It wasn’t a huge issue because we were leaving, but since wow left I am unsure of how soon it was able to be fixed. If we get the chance to come to the Bahamas we would absolutely love to stay here again.

A unique one-of-a-kind villa right on the beach, can’t beat the location on the water with your own private pristine sand beach, yet also walking distance to most everything you need! <br/>Charles was super helpful with local recommendations such as local fresh seafood, cigars etc. <br/>Would highly recommend and absolutely will come back again very soon!

Pros: <br/>Spacious home with great view and good setup. <br/>Semi-Private beach <br/>A/C in rooms stays nice and cold <br/>Needed bowls, and utensils were there <br/>Walkable distance to nearby pastry shop and smoothies<br/>Good amount of beach chairs/towels/masks to use<br/>Cons: <br/>Hard to locate from the directions given-best thing to do is type in sandals resort on cable beach into your phone and use that. The house isn’t much further down on the left <br/>Had some issues upon arrival that hindered us from getting into the home quickly<br/>Shower rods fell off multiple times and were not situated appropriately <br/>The listing said there would be a crib, however there was none and nothing was done from owner to try and help us accommodate <br/>Door to the beach/porch is VERY difficult to open<br/>Jetski rental close by so people on jet skis are zooming by very close to swimming area-we nearly got hit several times

Having lived right next door to this beautiful home, we were familiar with the area. Charles has done an extraordinary job in making this beachfront home inviting, functional while capitalizing on the natural aesthetics of Cable Beach. The homes open and airy atmosphere coupled with efficient layout with plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms along with ample kitchen and seating met/exceeded all of our families needs. We cannot praise the owners enough for their warm hospitality. From the moment we booked, Charles and his staff were incredibly responsive, ensuring our every need was met. There is plenty to do on Cable Beach as the home is centrally located near Baha Mar (5 minute walk), as well as groceries, drug stores, rental shops, liquor stores, etc. Super easy to catch a bus to uptown or other areas also.
